This is a child's book of charming stories, aptly illustrated by Walter Crane and Jocomb [sic] Hood. There are five stories; "The Happy Prince," "The Nightingale and the Rose," "The Selfish Giant," "The Deserted [sic] Friend,"and "The Remarkable Rocket." The stories are all thoughtful stories, teaching good lessons, and worthy of the best words of praise for their literary excellence.
